TomTom Repair Services

We do both TomTom GO car navigation hardware and software repairs, including the dreaded SD card red cross, SD card not loading and missing maps problems. Most common problems are broken or smashed screens, TomTom GO not switching on (but the green light is on when connected to the external power supply) and damaged SD cards etc.

When we receive a unit and SD card, we will examine and carry out the repair.  If the repair is different from your diagnosis when filling in the form, we will let you know what needs to be done. You can then make a decision what to do next. If you decide that we shouldn't go ahead with repairs, the unit and card will be returned to you with your payment.

In many cases we would be able to restore your original TomTom SD card if you haven't formatted it. This often happens when you try install a speed camera database, additional voices or colour schemes.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO REPAIR THE UNIT YOURSELF, IN THE MAJORITY OF CASES IT WILL SIMPLY MAKE OUR LIFE MORE DIFFICULT. DON'T LET YOUR "MATE" UPDATE THE SOFTWARE UNLESS YOU ARE 100% CERTAIN THAT HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING.

NEW TomTom Software Upgrade Services

We also now offer upgrade services too, as you really should update your tomtom as often as you can.  We offer Map Updates, Add or update Speed Cameras, Add or Update Points of Interest.  These service are designed to keep you bang upto date with today's roads.

NEW Customisation Services

Just for fun we also offer customised software for your tomtom.  You can add talking speed cameras that tell you when you are approaching a speed camera and what the speed limit actually is.  As well as celebrity voice packages that are sooo funny, especially when Ozzy Osbourne is telling you to turn right, or MR T is calling you a sukka :-)

How much does it cost?

The cost to repair will differ depending on the fault (see list below) , all prices including Labour & Recorded Special delivery back to your door !!!

Turnaround times can vary depending on the fault and available parts.

We normally repair your tomtom usually within 4-7 days, unless special parts are required, then this can take a few days longer as we only use original parts from tomtom themselves in Holland.

How Do I Order This Service?

What payment methods do you offer?

We accept cheques, postal orders & Cash for this service.
If for some reason we cannot repair your tomtom, your payment will be returned with your tomtom.

How to pack your TomTom before sending it to us

- Please do not send your tomtom in the original box, as this can be quite cumbersome and unnecessary.

- Fully charge the battery and turn off if possible, make sure you include the SD card if unit uses one

- Wrap your tomtom in bubble wrap or similar.

- Once wrapped, place in a jiffy bag, along with your completed and signed Order Form & Payment

- We recommend you send your tomtom special delivery, to ensure it is delivered and signed for by us safely.
