nokia 3220 + 3g

hi some guy is trying to sell a nokia 3220 on ebay claiming it is 3g is he taking the ***** as i tryed a 3g sim in a 6230 anfdd that did nothing :goodjob:

Once the handset is unlocked it will accept a Three sim,,, and it actually comes up with the "3" symbol. But after a week or two they will text you to tell you to put the sim into a Three compatible handset or they will suspend your service.

Thats what they did with me,,, so I never took the sim out and my contract was cancelled. :ott:

yeh they do take 3g sims but they roam on o2 a 3200 does the same

That was the beauty of the fone,,, same as the 7600,,, they locked to the o2 network so never dropped a call when switching between the 2g and 3g signal,,, lol.
