Vk 207i here's how to unlock the damn thing

For all you out there trying to unlock a vk 207i and having to pay for the pleasure. worry no more just follow the instructions below and be free


1. Switch the handset on without a SIM Card - screen will display Insert Card.



2. Key in *#83*737#(press and hold for 1 sec) - this will give access to the

personalisation menu



3. Select Disable Personalisation



4. Type >> edited out by admin, read admin reply below << and press the ok button



5. Handset should now be unlocked

I'm trying to unlock my VK207i so I can use an O2 sim with it but these instructions don't seem to work. It says 'invalid lock code' when I put in the code in step 4. What am I doing wrong?

its a differant code for every phone

Is there any where I can get a code for my phone free from anywhere? There are Nokia calcs all over the net but nothing for the VK207i.

I have followed the instructions for the mrs vk2071 and now it just says wrong card when i insert it, if i start it up when i enter the code given it does not allow me to get to the disable personalisation, whats gone wrong can you help !!

do not use this, VK handsets have unique codes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you will do more harm than good

get an unlock pack and unlock it properly
