Maybe a stupid question but what do i need to do/buy in order to get the pictures i take with the camera uploaded onto my computer? Does it have infrared? or do i need a data cable...if yes to data cable where on earth do i get one as i cant find one anywhere! Or is it even not possible to get the pics to my computer? I need to take this thing back if its not going to be possible...thanks :)

pcsync is available at ( http://www.vkmobile.com/club/pcsync.php ), I have down loaded this software but when I try to use it with the serial cable it will not work, I have tried changing the port settings to no avail, the usb cable is shown on ( http://www.vkmobile.com/phones/acc_vk530.php ),but when I have emailed vk they don't bother replying. I am searching the net to find out if i need any extra drivers to get it to work

JUst as a thought - did you chaps above simple plug and play your serial data cable ??

One reason it may have not worked is that on some serial interfaces you have to plug-in before you start your PC. Infact plug in all before switching either phone or PC on. Then start the phone FIRST.

Let me know how you get on or if anybody has any news about how to get hold of the USB cable, again please shout.

My sisters going mad, coz she cant get her pics off the phone. Mad that they can't be got from anywhere yet. Even though the phone has been out for a few months.

Unfortunately, there is no way to purchase VK PC Synce Data Cable in UK for the moment.

On specifications of VK530 that VK provide to Vodafone, PC Sync CD and USB Cable are not included.

i have the USB data cables in stock that are compatible with the 530, but will not data transfer, only for unlocking so dont buy any yet

we have another supplier sending us some to test, i will post results when they arrive, shouldn't be too long

First off, I don’t feel it was very necessary to call me an idiot.

Secondly I didn't realise you were a shop. I just saw "Fone Fun Forum" in the name and no mention at all of a shop linking to it. Other than the now spotted link in the bottom right in about size 2 font.

Thirdly I was only trying to be helpful, as I like others have be waiting for these cables for ages. I know it is nothing to do with you; it is VK causing the hold up. I did say it was for unlocking, was only making a suggestion that someone might want to give it a go.

So perhaps a less of the abuse towards your potential customers, huh.

we do have some VK530 cable and software packs coming in this week, so all should be good :-)

i will try to test the same pack on a 207i and let you know

i have some korean software, that wil work with 207i, but need to test this with new cables

ok, we have some VK usb cables in now

We have sucessfully tested them on the VK 530 and they work a treat


Also we have had a few customers beta test them before we released them on general sale

All i manage to get is one item of my phone book onto the pc, before it resets my phone :(
