I have a vodafone pay as you talk sim card that has been working fine in my new phone (had it about a week). I sent a text about 11 this morning which got through and was fine but this afternoon i have tried to send texts and make calls neither of which worked. I have tried removing the sim cleaning it and putting it back in which did not work.
I have tried the sim card in 2 other phones neither of which worked. I then assumed the sim itself was the problem so tried a different brand new vodafone pay as you talk sim in both my new phone and one of the other phones. On all occaisions the phone was neither able to send or recieve calls or texts. the only service which was sporadically available was calling to ckeck the amount of credit left which would work at times and at other say "Vodafone PAYT services unavailable" I was really wondering if this is a problem centrally with vodafone pay as you talk in which case i thought other people would be haviung problems or if not if there is anyhting i can do?

Hi hhg2tg,

There haven't been any reported issues on Vodafone Pay As You Talk, so it's likely this is an isolated problem with your equipment, or maybe just in your area. Do you know anyone else on Vodafone who is experiencing difficulties?

I understand that this issue was over the weekend. If you're still having problems now please give us a call on 08700 700 191 and we'll look into it right away.

Hope this helps,
