Debranding Orange d900

Hi,

Earlier this evening I downloaded the debranding software and, despite following the instructions, it still isn't working.

The main glitch seems to be that I have to select a COM port, but I'm connecting via USB. Thus, when I try to 'note the correct COM port' in device manager, there is simply nothing listed... my Samsung shows up in USB Controllers.

Have I downloaded the wrong version? Once my payment went through I had only one option to download.....

On the left is my device manager - on the right is one I found on the web.

Clearly my USB devices aren't shown under COM ports, so how do I find out which COM port has been assigned? Without this I can't connect to the phone in order to run the debranding software....

this is because you are using the wrong cable with the software, as stated at point of sale you need a flash cable @ http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/samsung/d900debrand.htm :dope:

get the right cable from the link and it will work fine
