Hello Everyone,
I am brand new to the forum and quite ignorant when it comes to the technical stuff. The phone has so much capability but i just don't know how to do any of it! I want to be able to put new true tones on the phones because, let's be honest, the "default" tones are HORRIBLE. Worst i have ever heard. The wallpapers, just as bad. I would love to spruce up this new phone but have no idea how to download stuff, how to transfer, etc. I have a Toshiba Satellite M115 and i THINK it has? bluetooth capabilites. Do i need a data cable, or can i have ringtones sent right to my phone. I think i did that once before on the original site a long time ago? I know im a beginner and it stinks to teach from ground zero, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks Guys!

if you have bluetooth you can easily transfer stuff to your pc to mobile phone.. all you need is a bluetooth connection for your pc and your all set
should be some at fonefunshop.

if you have a datacable you should have a cd to install the software on the pc? whene installing it should recognizeyour mobile phone whene drivers are installed.

any truetones and wallpapers you can easily go to them by right clicking and save target as.

I have the a707 as well and have transfered video, music, wallpapers, ringtones, etc... via bluetooth seemlessly. I also have a memory card and just move stuff from phone to memory card and vice versa as needed.

The only problem I have run into is installing java applications (aka GAMES!!!!) via bluetooth. The only way I have found that possible is through the mobile internet. I have even gone as far as trying to create an html file that I send to the phone with the games, drop them in the same folder and open the html trying to download (install) the games right off the memory card in the phone. The one solution I have come across is upload sites for java games that give you a link you punch into the phone and then allow you to install the file that way.

Any other advice??? What should the code look like on the html file for the download? Anyother way someone can help me out here? Comments, suggestions? What am I screwing up or just plain missing?
