Because O2 do not do a pay as you go Sony Ericsson T610, i had to go for a T-Mobile or an Orange one. I took a T-Mobile one because it was 4p cheaper @ £199.95! (and i didnt fancy paying £300 for a Just Phones Sony Ericsson T610)
1) I was NOT told the phone was customised to T-Mobile, I was just told where to get it unlocked.
2) I was NOT told the phone is non refundable because of its network, even though an exact orange alternative is refundable.
3) I feel like i have to get a new cover for the phone because T-MOBILE ENGRAVED THEIR logo onto it! ENGRAVED IT FFS!
Anyway this has tought me something, T-Mobile and Phones4u are cunts - sorry for being so blunt, but its how it is.

The phone is customized to the T-Mobile network, the cover i have changed - and ive paid for it to be unlocked. But the software/bios/firmware is customised to T-Mobile, and has the stupid T-Zones and wont let you delete the crap its filling the memory with. I would prefer for it to be the standard menus, ability to delete what i want and customize what i want, and use the phone how I intended to use it - its my phone, not theirs!
I talked to the bloke at the unlocking shop and he said its possible, but doesnt know what kit is needed, how to and anyone who can.
Has anyone done this, is there any products that can do this?
