Yep, although depending on if the other phone you want to use the sim in has been unlocked and enabled to work on any network. Other than that though, you should be fine :)

if its the light blue card
then no it wont work
the card is dedicated to that handset only
you will have to contact o2
and tell them you are changing handsets
and they will send you a modern card with the same number and any credit you had on the card
