nokia 3310 data cable (how)

Hi all
new to the forum ,got a data cable for 3310 (no instructions) no switch on back only slot where it should be.

I have tried it on fone but when you put it in battery does not go right down and reach clips .
you have to hold bat in very awkward.
Might be me seemed to be okay when i saw grandaughter use it but alas a long time ago.
Anyone got a close up pic,also what will it be mbus or fbus without having a switch.
Sorry to be long winded but have to give you all details,what software do i need.
I have win xp pro thanks for any advice

No problem's i am alway's here to help,there are 2 type's of cable for that model fone but if you follow instruction page it should get it working

Soooo sorry Mark pics were great and thanks to both of you,but the cable i got off grandaughter does not have the clip either side to hold the batt on top of the cable connector.
Seems like she must have broken it off but on close study does not appear to have anything broken.
So it must have been a seperate piece that clipped onto the box that goes in the phone and the batt clips in that,looks like i need a new cable.

In the past I have had problems with the conector at the phone end. The battery does not make proper contact with the contacts so it has to be held in place, in order for the phone to be turned on. I believe this only happens with the cheaper cables and i've only experienced it with the 3310's and 3330's.
