Unlocking Problem - got the codes - now I can't input them

Hi,

Recently obtained the correct codes for my Nokia 8310

But when i go to enter the codes I have a problem entering the last digit.
Has anyone come across this problem before and how I get around it?

1 were did you get the un-lock code
2 what is the handset saying on LCD
3 it might be that you have given wrong network O\P
4 The fone has been reported stolen and the IME has been blocked

we aim to help where we can but without proper informaition given we find it very hard

i bet you any money you want that you have got an 8210 in your hand, and not an 8310 !!!

the entire code if correctly calculated should be able to be fully inputted into the phone. unless it's a dct3 phone ie 8210, 3310 etc, the code is just toooooo long and wouldnt work anyway.

sound's to me like it is a 8210 and not a dct4 8310 handset but did not want to upset him by knowing he had the wrong model in his hand :oops:
