Hi all,

Need some advice/thoughts on what could be wrong with my Motorola RAZR V3...

The phone has a blanks screen! It beeps to switch on but the screen won't work at all! Is it a ribbon issue or a LCD screen issue?
I need to know so that I can budget for the repairs!

I had a ribbon issue with a Samsung D500 but with that the screen went crazy and first went inverse then just displayed a white screen whereas this just stopped displaying anything!

I am thinking it's the LCD screen that needs replacing but I'm not 100% sure - I don't want to send it off to get a new screen, get it back and find out it still doesn't work and now I've just spent £30 on replacing a part that wasn't broken!

Any help would be appreciated

Probably will be the screen or ribbon cable

when you say blank screen do you mean a black screen if so it may just be the connector has become detached

it could be a software issue, and not the svreen at all.

turn phone off

press and hold * # power buttons down together and see if the bootloader screen loads up
