Evening Folks, newbie so please be gentle. Bought my other half a Samung Z540v locked to Vodafone. She's with o2 so used the *746..... code to unlock the phone and it worked like a treat but obviously with the vodafone branding.

Ordered a debrand pack from fonefun, great service as usual.

Managed to debrand the phone no problem however the network lock has reappeared but the problem is that I cannot re-enter the code because after the debrand the phone will continously reboot after displaying the insert sim screen and therefore not giving me a chance to enter the code.

Could anyone please help, other half won't be happy when I tell her she can't use the phone. Tried my vodafone sim and that of course works fine.

Thanks in advance for any help

Bal

<update>

Seems the problem is worse than I thought. With the vodafone sim in it is still
rebooting randomnly but also when I go into the menu screen and select an of the options, camera etc it reboots too........ Please help:cry:
