i bought a unlocking code, i own a nokia 6680, i tried two codes, both with and without a sim card and everytime it comes up 'code error'

on the main page as shown:....

a 6680 is a bb5 model as you said - they cannot be unlocked - you did not buy the code from fonefunshop as they do not sell them - where ever you brought it from you have been ripped off. There is a warning on the site located here:
