absolutely desperate for help

hi, i have a samsung a800 and just today after putting a ringtone onto my fone it would not come on. eventually it came on, i put my sim pin number and and it said sim lock!!!!
Now when i try to turn it on the light just flashes and it wont come up.
Please i am desperate for help, i only got this fone at weekend.

Take the battery out of your phone for an hour, then put it back and turn it back on, this should sort it
