I have just purchased a Motorola RAZR V3i phone and cannot get bluetooth to work on it.
I am trying to connect to a Motorola V3 phone.
I have checked the user manual and both phones have bluetooth switched on but cannot find the device.
The manual needs a troubleshooting section.
Can someone explain in laymans terms how i should be able to activate bluetooth, what the Find Me: option means( the one that when I click it says Discoverable:60 seconds).
Also is this something obvious i am missing out, or am i going about it the wrong way?

Don't know much aobut V3i's but i do know on Motorola's you bluetooth is only discoverable for 60 seconds so you have to do your searching and stuff quick (in your case make sure both phones are discoverable)

The only other explainatation is that ive heard that if its a Vodafone fone they have put some kind of block in the firmware that only allows you to connect to a headset. don't know if this affects the V3i (or how true this is)

when you are letting someone connect for the first time you have to activate the "find me" option. this makes your phone discoverable for 60 seconds. when you are trying to connect from your phone, use the search for new devices option and it should find all phones in the vacinity who have there bluetooth switched on.
