it totally f**ks it up mate !!!

we had the software on http://www.freepolyringtones.co.uk but so many people had problems it was untrue!!!

wap setting go bye bye, tones wont vibrate anymore.

but you did get a nice new alarm clock thingy.

Dont bother m8, all people want to do when they have converted it, is convert it straight back to a standard t100

moral of the story with the T100-T108 is, dont fix somthing that isn't broke !!

Anything you see on kazaa is all rubbish and will wreck any phone even the nokia un-locker's are unfit to be used unless recommended just ask and 1 of use will always
Tell the truth and the reason why the post has been left on is because it is a valued question and other people can read it and understand what EPROM up-dates can do to phones

Hope this answer’s question THE JAG

i have to disagree with you peeps, the t108 upgrade is a great thing if you require a built in answerphone on your t100, if your phone is switched on, but you cant be arsed to answer your phone, the answerphone cuts in and takes a message, the great thing is you can listen to the message, and butt in if it sounds like a good enough topic....plus the messages are actually stored on the phone, not at voda or orange`s message center so it costs you nothing to retrieve your friends messages.

but the T108 firmware is kinda out of date now, theyre are T100 firmwares around that will allow you to download java games (however it is an expensive thing to do) Plus quiker versions of the t100 software which has quicker versions of the built in games.

not to mention their is software around that you can customise your samsung t100 firmware with ie startup, shutdown logos, menus, ringtones, screensavers etc etc etc.....

ive wiped and re-flashed my phone possibly 30 times and have never had one problem, as long as you are slightly computer literate you can do it very easilly.

on the subject of wap settings....copy them before you start, then put them back in when you have flashed the phone....they reason they disappear is because the software you are flashing to the phone is a copy of the software from a newer version, or a different country that has their default settings built into the phone.

I hope this helps...

FIRMWARE ARE GOOD

even i have made my own custom firmware based on the BBC TV Series "BOTTOM"

Every enginear i no of in cardiff will not upgarde a t100 to a t108 as asoon as it is done the person take's it away and bring's it back within 1hr asking if it can go back to the t100 "i wounder why" but as this is a OPEN FORUM every1 has there own personal thought's on these matter's
