i have a genie 02 simcard where i get 300 free texts a month but when i run out of the 300 free texts what do i do? someone said to put the date of the mobile back to when you first put your 02 simcard i and recived the free texts i really wanna know coz i think that i am gonna run out of free texts again, cheers

This is suppose to work but im not sure i havent tryed it... Have ago >>>

1. Firstly you must have an o2 sim card with 300 free text offer

2. Top up £10 of credit (as required)

3. Take note of what date and time you topped up (this is important)

4. Use your phone normally that month untill you run out of your free (300) texts

5. Once you have run out of (300) texts reset the date and the time on your mobile to the date and the time when you first topped up.

6. DONT USE YOUR PHONE THAT DAY, THAT MEANS DONT MAKE A CONNECTION WITH ANYONE, BUT LEAVE YOUR PHONE SWITCHED ON!

7.The next day day make sure its after 24hrs set your phone back to the correct date.

8. Now all you will have to do is wait till untill the next month & youle get a message from o2 saying "THANKYOU FOR TOPPING UP YOU NOW HAVE YOUR FREE 300 TEXT MESSAGES"

9. You can only get 300 free textsonce every month so make sure you dont run out half way through.

10. Now all you have to do is repeat this every month so no more need to top up (free texts for life)

Ive never tryed it coz its to much messing about.

Wouldn't it be easier to just top up like I do? Admittedly, it's annoying to have loads of money on your phone unused, but for free texts and phone calls it's worth it! By the way, if you've been with o2 for 6 months, you can pick more free texts/minutes as your o2 treat.

send a message saying. balance. to 20202
you will get a message back tellimg you that you have
300 texts to use in a month

Aww that is wicked but my friend said it happened to her and they stop them and ask you to top-up! But i still did it anyway coz i am skint.

works good for 1 day only then u have to top up iv just used 3 sims in 3 days texting everyone but next day its not letting me
but still can use free wap(gprs) so not to bad.....lol

just ring the top up line and they tell u a list
4444 top up line
2425 bolt ons

yeah you ring 4444 and then press 2 then 2 again and it tells you when the texts run out and i did it that way and i got back my texts:yes:

One thing I noticed last year when I was in Spain, if I made sure my phone registered with E Vodafone rather than Movistar then if I sent a picture message my balance never dropped, although it did with a normal text. I'll try it again from tomorrow when I'm in the Canaries!!
