T300 Unlocking

Just a quick question - I have been offered a T300 which is currently locked to the Vodafone network. I have heard that you cannot unlock Vodafone handsets, would somebody 'in the know' either confirm or deny this rumour please.

to my knowlegde any fone can be unlocked to any network and my father has a sony which was unlocked might need to be sent away to fonefunshop to do as i dont think they are remote unlocked

It will have to be un-locked by a shop look at the unlocking service as mark and fonefun are the best around

I thought they told me that this won't unlock the T610 now.
Can you double check that to put me at rest as some people may be dissapointed if they buy that and not the DIV 8.0
