Simply pop the free 02 sim in your phone.

wait for the message "Welcome to 02 etc......." then send a text sms "BALANCE" without the quotes to 20202, you will see "Your balance is £0.00". You will shortly recieve a text from 02. saying

"..... 300 messaging units & 1.0 MB left which will expire on blah.

This only lasts a day, but is worth a free days worth of texts

i sometimes get random free tx, like if i 4get 2 top up or run outta cred, i send tx but it doesnt charge.

lol thats weird, i had free sms all last week... sent about 80 sms...then the phone started charging me for them... my credit went down to £2 so i topped up £20,and right away i started getting free sms again,sent about 150 messages in total now for free.good deal =D

the txt i got back says:

"TALK ANYTIME FREE MONTHLY ALLOWANCE - 50 minutes & 0 seconds & 1.0MB left which will expire on 08 Nov.

You've obviously got the talk sim instead of the texting one. You can easily change it though
