How to make Samsung Voice Tones

This is how convert wav files to .mmf ringtones for samsung polyphonic mobiles.

Find a small wav file around 40k or record one yourself with windows sond recorder.

Open the wav file with your windows sound recorder (find it at start button/accessories/entertainment) and save it as an 8 bit mono wav file.

Then use the Midi 2 poly converter to convert it to .mmf (download converter at: http://fp.freefonefun.plus.com/convertmidi.htm

Then upload it to your Samsung compatible mobile in the usual way.

If the voice tone you are creating won't upload, it is because it is too big. You can crop it down by following Step 2.1 on the link mentioned above.

I converted the voice tones at: http://fp.freefonefun.plus.com/voice.htm
into .mmf, and uploaded them fine to my T100

no-one else has complained.

make sure you save your wav as 8 bit mono

Do I have to save it as a 16 poly? Can I save it as a 40 ploy if my phone is capable of it?
