i have just got a v200 but are not sure what programs i need to add tones to phone any help appreciated

You need to use the original cable supplied with the phone, no replacement cables are available anywhere as yet !!!
The software you need is called Easy GPRS V2.0
download it at http://uk.samsungmobile.com//mobile_phone/sgh-v200/driver/EasyGPRS%20v2.0.zip
the tones can be found at http://fp.freefonefun.plus.com/pop.htm
and our CD with over 4,000 ringtones can be found at: http://fp.freefonefun.plus.com/shop.htm
If for some reason the tones won't load, try cropping them down to a much smaller length and consequently a smaller file size with some clever software. info on how to do this is included in Step 2.1 on this page: http://fp.freefonefun.plus.com/convertmidi.htm
This information is basically the same for the Samsung S300 too. except you need to use easyGPRS v2.1.5 available at http://uk.samsungmobile.com//mobile_phone/sgh-s300/driver/Easy%20GPRS(ver2.1.5).zip
