Advice Plzzz

I've just purchased a second hand Lg u8120 on ebay, the only worry i have is how i'm to make sure it's not a stolen or reported lost mobile, i've read that once i recieve it i'm to register it with the LG or is it 3, is this true? I'm now thinking allsorts, like once i receive it it could be barred or blocked. So can some one just give some advice on the best thing to do once i recieve it. I will be getting it unlocked as i'm on Tesco, and its locked to 3. So i'm not sure who i register it with Tesco or 3!!!, Apparently there's a lot of insurance things go on with contract phones,they end up with a nice new phone and the ones they sell(lose) are then blacklisted, i really don't want to end up with a mobile that is useless. theres no reason to get yourself in a tizzy about it
if it gets blocked get on to the person who sold you the phone
and explain to them that its been blocked you never know they may be an honest seller who will refund you
if not then you could always tell them if you dont get a refund you will be contacting the police as the phone is either lost proprty or stolen
if you paid by paypal you can contact them about the seller

but till it gets blocked i would not worry
