How do create a jar file from a zip file for the games?

I have downloaded games for my SE and some of them are in zip format and need to be in jar format, how do i create a jar file from the files listed in the zip file?

You need to un-pack the zip file and it should contain a jar file, which is the program file and a jad file which is the install instruction file.

Hi and thanx for the response, having opened the zip file there are no jad or jar files, i have downloaded the SuperMario, lemmings and Garfield from thsi site. They are in zip format and contain many files but of which none are a .jad or .jar file.

If there is no jar file included then I expect there are class files and the files need compiling. This is complicated..
You want the ready compiled jar file to make live easier.

As for the jad file you can get Jad Wizard that makes the jad file for you. This files carries the upload information so the phone can install the jar file.
