This might seem cheeky but can someone please help. I have paid for an unlock code off one company who now informs me they can not unlock phone. I paid another company who sent me a code with instructions which were not very descriptive. It states that if the code fails to insert sim, power on and enter sos key when password box pops up enter the code. What is the sos key I pressed the ok button and tried to enter code but as soon as box appears with 0000 in it it then promptly dissapears. What am I doing wrong? If I have to pay for another code it is just getting expensive.

you see, this is what happens when you buy codes from dojy dealers on the net lol

vk phones cannot be unlocked with codes from someone from the net

the phone has to be read to be unlocked.

get the unlock pack from http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/vk.htm

or send it to us and we will unlock it for you

:noprobs: Thanks Mark. I'm still trying to get reply off the one company that sent a code, as yet heard nothing. If I get my money back I'll certainly get the software off you, wish I had known of you sooner. Is this software guaranteed to work?

Mark I have done as suggested and bought the software for the unlocking. I do not have the 9v radio battery to attach to a certain cable. I do have the usb lead from the phone to the computer which is what I thought was needed. I tried to unlock and it didn't work, in the instructions it says if it fails to press the unlock button about three times there is no unlock button it is reset sim lock and reset lock code. If I tell you what I have done perhaps you can let me know what I am doing wrong. Remove sim from phone connect cable to phone and power on run the software and press reset sim lock, turn off power and put sim in repower on. Nothing, it says wrong sim. I tried it again only pressing the reset sim three times again nothing. Please help, as you know this is my third attempt, and I am still awaiting a refund from the last company.

usb cable no good m8, why didnt you just take to a local shop and let them unlock it in the first place?
For the sake of a tenner wouldn't it be easier to let a professional do it? job done :D
