hey! im on pay as you go, and a friend of mine told me that if i topped up 15 pounds instead of 10 pounds each time, id get free calls aswell as my free text. is this true? and if so how many minutes do i get? i just wanted to check before i topped up extra unnesersarily.

It's called O2 Talkalotmore. If you sign up to O2 with your mobile number, you sign in and visit 'My O2'. You can then view tariff boltons. What you do is top up £15 between 1st November to the 29th November and get 150 Weekend and Evening calls to O2 or LAN lines, or £30 to get 300 of these minutes. Hope that helped.

BTW, this is on top of all current allowances

thanks man that helped alot :) i also rang up the o2 customer service, and they told me exactly the same thiong aswel, because i wasnt sure if i had 2 subscibe to it, but she added me onto it over the phone. apparently though, she said because it takes a month to start, i won't receice my free minutes until december!

If you change your monthly allowance to "Calls and Messages" you get up to 100 anyone, anytime minutes, or 100 message units/33 mms or a combination of all three for your £10 monthly top up. Once you've used them up then your balance starts dropping so in effect you get twice as much for your £10.:outstand:
