ok go easy on me because i am a complete novice with these phones but have just got a w800 on 02 and am having trouble with the mp3 part of it.
using the disc2phone software that was supplied with the phone,i can drag and drop the files and then transfer them so that they are in the phone tracks window.when i then look at my phone they are either not there at all or only 1 track has transfered,even though i have watched them all transfer over and i can open the whole cd in the phone tracks window.
the other problem that i have is that as soon as i try to disconnect the phone from the usb cable,it just switches off the pc.i have tried different usb ports and tried the safely remove hardware logo in the sys tray but as soon as you remove the cable it just turns off almost as if someone has pressed the reset switch.even turning off the phone causes the pc to restart as well.
does this sound like it is a phone or cable problem that i am having cos i am baffled and i am assuming that this is also the the cause of the tracks not actually getting onto the phone.
