wont unlock sony ericsson

hi, after last download lg 2g etc my sony/ericson total unlocking wont work, try,d 3 phones today k700i x2 and a k500i which i have done in past with no problems, i have the super clip 2, any ideas how to sort this,thanks

no it was unlocking k700is no prob before, but since last download it wont, if it is going to stay like that i would rather go back to last download without lg 2g, is it possible to do that:noprobs:

ok, be careful, as there is a new k700i out there which is actually cid 39, now this k700 can be killed if you try to unlock it.

how old are the k700's you are trying to do, as i suspect these are the new ones, and only setool service software seems to be doing these little blighters.

just another thing too, we have sold quite a few superclips since the lg2g update, and no-one else seems to be having any problems

let me know if you can unlock any other sonyercssons with it as it could be the cable that may have got damaged rather than the software in the clip

remember, when unlocking se phones use the following methods

phone off no sim
connect to clip
light 1 on
press unlock
wait till back to light 1
phone unlocked


if 1 & 4 flash, then try again, as this means error, possibly that the clip is not connected to phone correctly


or try this method

phone off no sim
light 1 on
press unlock
then connect phone to clip
wait till back to light 1
phone unlocked

this method is best for stubborn t610's & t630's

how can you tell if the k700i is cid 39 we need to know that, the two that i tryed had been around a while, i would say a year old, is there anyway of testing the cable,or will i have to just purchase a new one.

there is no way of noticing this with the equiptment you have, however if you get yourself a total multiserver cable and use the total multiserver software you can test the cid for free without spending a credit
