LG8110 Unlock

Hi,

I purchased an LG8110 unlocking cable and CD from fonefunshop and although it says that the phone is unlocked, I cannot put another sim into the phone, any ideas, it look to me that the unlocking doesn't work properly!!! :ott:

what software version is the phone, as the pack we sell only supports upto version 1.03 as stated on the site

WAP: WV1.1.14
S/W: U8110_V110

Is this below the version you state?

no your version is 1.10 which is higher than 1.03 , and not supported by that early pack.

Is there any updated software? When I bought the product I did'nt see anything stating that it was restricted, in fact checking now I don't see anything stating this now either!
I bought this phone when they were relatively new - when did the verion change in relation to the unlock product being sold?

Look, it did say it and still does; see attatchment.

i know this because anything over v1.03 needs to be flashed down to an earlier version allowing it to be unlocked. This has always been stated nt he pack.
