Hello everyone.

I would appreciate any help on the following issue..

Ten months ago I bought a reconditioned Vk207i from Vodafone (Marble Arch). I was very happy with the phone till April, when I requested an unlocking code, as I had to travel abroad. I will not commend on the customer service.. but it is now July, and just a week ago (after 3 months of phonecalls) they finally told me that there is no unlocking code for VK207i (!).

My question is:
Does anyone have a VK207i phone legally unlocked (on Vodafone or another network)?

And is there anything I can do? (Everytime I call they listen, they say 'ok, we will call you', and they don't.)

I should also mention that when I requested the unlocking code, they initially send me one for VK530 (which didn't work of course).

Thanks for any help.

all unlocking is LEGAL

vodafone unlock codes is just their way of holding onto your business. hence the massive delays and normally expensive costs

unlocking is legal in the UK, hence we are a vat registered company that secialise in this proffession, and also supply most of the UK and europe with unlocking equipment.

un-BLOCKING (changing the actual identity of a phone) is ilegal, and is something deffinately not practiced by us at fone fun shop, this should not be confused with unLOCKING

you could send us your phone to be unlocked using this service: http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/unlock/vk.htm

or buy a kit and do it yourself
