Avoid any Call
Tapping on your Private Calls. With two cryptophones
you and another person can talk freely knowing that NO-ONE
can tap the call including Police, Government, and any other
third party surveillance organisations.
The
CryptoPhone works just like a normal mobile with any sim.
But when another cryptophone calls the phone, it tells you
its another cryptophone and switches to encryption mode.
It displays this on the screens of both callers to alert you
and the other caller that the call cannot be
monitored. See Usage Scenarios and
FAQ for more info.
Its 100%
uncrackable!! The source codes are on this page below for
everyone to see. Thats how confident the manufacturers are.
Even they cant listen or decrypt a call because every time a
new call is made the algorithm changes the encryption keys
and so its totally random.
Introduction
Over the past two decades,
telecommunications interception has developed into a major
industry. Intelligence agencies and private organizations
within all countries routinely intercept calls that may
yield sensitive political, military or economic information.
The use of wiretapping has become so widespread, simple and
uncontrolled that you must assume that records of your
private calls end up in the wrong hands. Equipment for
wireless interception of mobile phone calls has become
available at such low prices that it is deployed frequently
even in comparatively small business conflicts. So using
encryption to protect your privacy is the prudent choice.
But protecting your information with strong and trustworthy
encryption has become difficult. "Proprietary" or "Secret"
algorithms of dubious quality, and encryption that is too
weak to protect against modern computing power are
commonplace in the telecommunications market. These
weaknesses are masked by marketing efforts, suggesting that
you need to rely on "the secrecy of the algorithm" or
"government classification" - certified by the same
intelligence agencies that are actually in charge of
telecommunications interception.
Now there is a solution that you can trust, because it can
be verified by you or by your experts. GSMK CryptoPhones,
the first secure phones that come with full source code
available for independent review are available now. Finally,
you can perform an independent assessment to ensure that
there is no weak encryption and no backdoors in the device
you entrust your telecommunications security to. You don't
have to believe us when we say it is secure - you can verify
that claim yourself.
GSMK CryptoPhones are no black-box-devices with scarce
technical information, like other products in the market. We
will give you all the details of their inner workings - even
before you buy. GSMK CryptoPhones enable you to put the
trust where it belongs - in a trustworthy, open and
scientific verification process.
GSMK CryptoPhone technology is based on well-researched
algorithms for both encryption and voice processing: The
strongest encryption available combined with key lengths
that provide peace of mind today and in the future. GSMK
CryptoPhones encrypt your calls with the two algorithms that
are regarded strongest by the cryptographic community - AES
and Twofish.

FAQ (Frequently Asked
Questions)
What is a GSMK CryptoPhone?
GSMK CryptoPhones are cellular, desktop or satellite phones
that provide security against anyone listening in on your
calls. To set up a secure call, both parties need to use a
GSMK CryptoPhone.
What threats does the GSMK CryptoPhone
protect against? The GSMK CryptoPhones were designed to offer security
against anyone who tries to listen into your calls, both
inside the telephone network and on the air. The GSMK
CryptoPhone provides end-to-end security so the call is
fully encrypted all the way between two GSMK CryptoPhones.
Today`s complex telephone systems make it impossible to
predict what path a phone call takes inside the network.
Calls are routinely transported over unencrypted directional
microwave radio links that are subject to easy interception
with even modest equipment. In order to save costs, calls
are frequently routed through networks or operators that
might have dubious security standards. Your whole business
confidentiality might get compromised by a single corrupt
phone company employee. There exists a device known as IMSI-Catcher
which allows anyone to listen into mobile phone calls. IMSI-Catchers
are readily available on the market and are being used with
increasing frequency.
All these threats can be eliminated by using the GSMK
CryptoPhone.
How do I know that the GSMK
CryptoPhone is right for me? When you are operating with sensitive information that
could possibly cause danger or damage to you or your clients
if compromised, the GSMK CryptoPhone is right for you. If
you ever have talked on the phone and thought "lets hope
that this call has not been intercepted by someone", the
GSMK CryptoPhone is right for you. If you have ever have
talked about a deal worth a million Euros or more on the
phone, the GSMK CryptoPhone is also right for you.
Typical
professionals who can take advantage of CryproPhone? Typical customers are corporate executives, lawyers,
accountants, bankers, mergers & acquisition specialists,
consultants (management, tax, security), journalists, law
enforcement officers, government officials, doctors, private
investigators and other people who simply prefer to
communicate in private.
So why should I buy crypto phone?
It offers the best cryptographic security available on the
market.
It is very easy to use.
The source code of the firmware is published, meaning it
is under constant review by experts for security.
It has been developed without any government interference
and does not provide any third party access to the encrypted
communication or key material.
It is much more affordable than any competing product.
A Free Windows program to turn any PC into a GSMK
CryptoPhone-compatible secure landline phone is available.
It is based on standard hardware, which allows you to buy
accessories at normal market prices.
The team that built this crypto-phone has spent the better
part of fifteen years thinking about it. During this time,
we have brainstormed with the top security people around the
globe on how to do it right. One thing was clear from the
start: the computer code behind the system must be available
to the cryptographic/academic community (and to the public
at large) to allow flaws and backdoors to be discovered and
fixed as fast as possible. As far as we know, there is no
secure cellular, landline, or satellite phone on the market
that offers this extremely important feature.
Usage Scenarios
Scenario I - Law Firm A law firm with offices throughout the world
noticed a tendency of lost cases and negotiations running
sour, as soon as companies or organisations from a certain
country, lets call it Country A, were involved on the other
side. Rumors circulated in the lawyer community about
Country A routinely using intercepted communications to
support its economy. So the law firm started looking for a
communications security solution, especially for their
highly mobile partners, who spend a lot of their time on the
mobile phone. Several solutions were tested and evaluated. A
solution was found that looked very elegant and convenient.
During the evaluation of the solution, it became known that
the company producing this solution was heavily involved
with Country A. Circumstantial evidence was found that
looked like a cryptographic backdoor, mandated by the
government of Country A, that is by default built into the
encryption system. So there was a high likelihood that this
specific encryption could be removed by Country A with ease.
Frustrated by this
experience, the law firm turned to GSMK as they felt that
only a truly independent, fully verifiably solution could
solve their problem. GSMK provided the law firm's partners
with GSMK CryptoPhone 200 units and an on-site secure
communications behaviour crash-course within two days. Speed
was essential, as the law firm represented an important
client in critical negotiations. As a result of the quick
deployment, the negotiations could be completed with great
success.
Scenario II
- Raw Metals Trader Metals Trade Corp. (name changed) is a medium
sized player in the international raw and scrap metals trade
business. The company is under heavy competitive pressure.
Especially critical is the protection of producer
relationships, as pricing and production levels swing widely
and have a strong influence on the bottom line of Metals
Trade Corp. On several occasions the owner of Metals Trade
Corp. noticed attempts by two competing companies to
undercut his pricing and interfere with an established
producer relationship of his company. Circumstances led to
the possibility that the competitors had access to Metals
Trade communication contents.
As one of the competitors
comes from a region where traditionally the division between
government and business interests is not very sharp, Metals
Trade Corp. had to assume that the attack on its
communications was at least partially supported by
government ressources. So only a full strength cryptography
solution could solve the problem. Metals Trade Corp. bought
at first four units from GSMK to evaluate functionality and
usability. After four weeks of intensive testing they came
back to GSMK to purchase GSMK CryptoPhone 200 units for all
their trade representatives and placed a pre-order for the
GSMK CryptoPhone landline solution, to equip all their
branch offices and partners with a secure communications
solution.
Scenario
III - Police Organisation
An investigative police branch faced serious problems with a
large-scale organized crime syndicate. Due to the huge
profits gained from their illegal business, the criminals
could afford a serious wiretapping operation against the
very police officers that were investigating against them.
Police operations went nowhere, undercover officers were
burned.
The police force asked GSMK
to provide them with GSMK CryptoPhone 200 devices to equip
all the officers involved in the case. GSMK shipped a
substantial number of units within one week and provided
training material on secure communications methods for the
officers . The whole deployment took place within two weeks
after order. Within days the police regained the capability
to conduct covert investigations and could gather enough
evidence to bust the crime ring after four further months of
work. Police officers were especially happy about the
inconspicuous exterior of the CryptoPhone, which is not
distinguishable from a normal PDA-phone. During the
following months, GSMK CryptoPhones were introduced as
standard means of secure communication for the whole upper
echelon of the police force and for Minister of Interior
Affairs personal.
Scenario IV
- Human Rights NGO
Human Rights defenders face multiple problems in several
areas of the world. Most of the time hostile governments
with a bad human rights track record want to prevent crimes
against humanity from getting documented. So they habitually
intercept all communications from private organisations that
try to do something about human rights abuses. This kind of
interception routinely leads to arrests or even killings of
local informers and activists, as their identities get
compromised. Public activities that are to be coordinated
with foreign support groups are prevented by the hostile
government, because they know beforehand from intercepted
communication.
A well respected
international human rights organisation approached GSMK to
see what could be done about these problems. GSMK designed a
solution for them that provided the local activists in the
country with the free Windows-based CryptoPhone client as a
widely distributed base layer of security. Members of the
international support group were equipped with GSMK
CryptoPhone 200 phones, so they could be reached and
communicate when traveling. A special quickly deployable
reporting team of the organisation has been equipped with
the GSMK solution for the Thuraya satellite network. Using
the satellite based systems they can communicate without
dependence on local infrastructure and also from remote
areas. As satellite communications can also be intercepted,
the encryption of the satellite calls is essential to
provide the necessary confidentiality.
