P3 Card Dongle (For Polar Box 2 Metal Box Users)
Polar Team are proud to announce a new product called P3-CARD dongle.
This dongle will be needed for all POLAR BOX 2 METAL BOX users to upgrade their box to the new POLAR BOX 2 PLASTIC BOX
Polar Team have been releasing updates for the METAL BOX version since 26-Jul-2006 (more than 5 years).
So to continue working with future updates, it will be necessary upgrade your METAL BOX with the P3 Card Dongle.
Important Info
This upgrade is for METAL BOX users only
PLASTIC BOX users do not need it.
If you have a plastic box you can continue using your software and future updates as normal without any problem.
Gold License Free Gift
All users that upgrade their "old" metal box to new by way of PC3 Card, will receive a special GIFT called GOLD LICENSE.
This license will full activate your polar box with ALL ACTIVATIONS for a period of 12 months, and you will be able to use all LICENSE services totally free and without limits.
This will not affect any paid licenses you have
After 12 months your box will revert back to your original licenses you had.
Upgrade Procedure

Download the updater tool from Updater Tool Updater_v104.zip and unzip it
Connect polar metal box to pc.
Connect P3 card to usb port on polar box. Note: the drivers for the p3 dongle should install automatically, but if you need drivers you can download them from here
Run updater and follow instructions to upgrade your box.
Once latest polar is installed, run polar sat, go to "User Area" tab and press "Request Box Certificate"
This will then complete the upgrade and you are ready to use new polar plastic software.
