This flash pack is needed to remove network branding from Orange branded HTC Hero .
This pack also fixes the problem when entering htc unlock code too !!
De-branding basically means removing awful operator firmware, and replacing it with the manufacturers original firmware. Hence converting your phone to the full spec as it was intended by the manufacturer (the way it should be). This also un-caps fixed mms/wap/web settings.
Orange branded HTC Heros also have a cap on the entry of correct unlock codes. This pack removes this cap enabling you to enter your unlock code and unlock the HTC Hero. If you bought an unlock code for your HTC Hero you will know this problem, basically what orange heros do is ask for the code, you enter it, it says successful, but then keeps asking for it again. This pack fixes this issue and lets you successfully unlock your HTC hero
