Genie Universal Update
uGenie v 0.8 ready for download. What's new:
bb5all.exe v 0.164
- Support for standalone SL3 log reading on RAPU CPUs with hash 25B9...
- Support for standalone SL3 log reading on RAPv4 CPUs with hash 7B04...
Multiphone reading in Auto mode is supported for those new hashes too. Just
start in Auto
mode and all logs will be saved to the SD card.
Please do full card update, no need to update OS if you have the latest

We have some updates today, all being uploaded to the FTP right now.

Notes on this App: It is created to replace the 2 years old bb5notp.exe
There are some models not yet supported (PA_SL2, RAPIDO, new PM enc),
to be added in next version. SL3 phones save log file, to be uploaded to
our server for later processing. Some other cool features to be added
in following versions. SL3 hashes - 25xx and 47xx not yet supported also.
Logs will be saved to Files/Nokia in format xxxxxxx.sl3(where x - last 7
digits
of the phone imei). Logs are not yet supported by Remote Tools for upload
3. BB5Notp.exe

The good, old bb5notp.exe is no longer supported. It has done its work
during last 2 years, unlocking hundreds of thousands of bb5 phones.
How to update:

1. Wait 2-3 hours from the time of this post
2. Update your SD card contents to the latest files using the Genie Update
Client
3. Update your OS using USB cable and Remote Tools - 0.34
4. Enjoy
Please if you have devices for update - do not try to update using older
version of the OS ( 0.187 - 0.197), it will result in blue screen. In case
you
do this - do not panick, just update your SD card and press Update in Remote
Tools.

Genie Universal New version of Remote Tools 1.34
Hi, Today we have released new version of Remote Tools with a critical bug
fixes regarding Genie OS update. You need to use this version if you want to
update your Genie, because older
versions of Remote Tools will not work.
BTW:
1. Older version of Remote Tools will no longer work (you will get Error1 on
connecting to server)
2. Please use latest drivers from the package(gUpd.sys and gUpdU.sys), those
are newer than
FTP files

Genie-Universal SL3 Unlock released!!!
Finally it´s done, Genie-Universal goes SL3 now !!
We now bring the opportunity for all Genie users to get SL3 phones unlocked
with the New Update.
How does it work?
You need latest Remote-Tools Version 1.0.0.32 from download section
and a Genie-Universal Server Account with at least 249 credits. (unlock
costs 249 credits)
Simply connect your Genie-Universal to PC USB Port, enter your
Username/Password
and press button "SL3 Request". Phone Informations will be read from phone
and
submited to the Server. After that you just need to wait for the code to be
calculated.
You can check the status of your code calculation by pressing the "SL3
STATUS" Button.
Once your code-calcution started you will see the progress in percent, if
there is
another calculation running already, you will see "idle" message.
Turnaround time for Codes:
Turnarround time depends how busy the Server is, could be done within few
hours,
but could also take up to few days in case there are many requests pending.
PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A PHONE IF YOU DON´T HAVE TIME TO WAIT FOR THE
UNLOCK-CODE!!
Currently supported SL3 Models:
- N97
- N97 mini
- 5310
- 6303
- 3600

- 6500s
- etc.
PS: If you don´t like it, simply don't use it!!!

2. Also glad to notify Genie users - now RPL calculation service on our

fully free to all Genie users:
- No need to have account
- You can do Simlock RPL for all BB5 (except SL3)
- You can do SuperDongle RPL for all BB5
3. Major bug fix on the two genie device drivers
4. And offcourse the SX4 auth is fully standalone with Genie - no need for
internet connection, Smart Card etc.

-restart clip, press firmware update

be able to use it. Please feel free to use them for other services like

- Some quick fix on the 5800 unlock problem the code will be saved to the
card. If you get success on unlock, but phone is still locked, please do not
try to do it second time as this will eat another 50 credits. Just run the
provided script to enter the
