Notes about XGold 223 flashing:
Switching to RAW mode is not supported
(i.e. flashing from local/test mode, ROM
will respons with empty public id
(000000...) - very same story as with
rapido). Battery reset needed, software
will prompt you, but not always. Keep it
noticed.
Notes about XGold 223 RPL: Readen RPL is
not full RPL backup (missing crypted
PM308 data). This phone is very
TexasInstruments-Nokia like, but not
really. Once loaders with assymetric key
hack is not ready, you SHOULDNT full
erase your phone any way.

How to work with Cycator?
1. Launch Cycator SW.
2. Select Product (we will post list
tomorrow, for example Tube is 5800Xm,
Picollo is 6300, Picollino is 5130xm,
etc). Current revision (11062012)

Important Notes
1. If you are using old (Classic)
Cyclone Box and having old Card serial
number (2009,2010) and after latest
bootloader upgrade, your box can't enter
into bootloader mode, your box boot need
Recovery. This will be proceeded
AUTOMATICALLY, just use Box Wizard.
2. Box Maintenance, Box Registration,
Card Maintenance are removed from this
release
3. Your box having 3 update credits from
now
4. Box Firmware v02.01 is required, so
this update could be operational
5. Use "Box Wizard". This is one-click
tool for box repair (boot recovery),
upgrade, activation, registration,
smartcard upgrade/initialization, and so
on.
6. If you are using Windows 7,
autoupdate in old version may fail
(fixed already). In case download
installer directly, or run SW with Admin

Small manual how-it-works:
1. Read SL3 Log file (BB5, Simlock Tabs,
Group "Local SL3 Bruteforce", Button
Read LOG File)
2. Save the readen Log File somewhere.
It contains necessary information needed
to calculate code.
3. Use "log2cod Calculator" to calculate
COD file. Processing speed depends on
GPU installed at your PC. log2cod
calculator supports calculation resume
(on power-off fail, etc).
4. Once COD file is ready, use "Send COD
File to Server" button to Submit
Calculation Result to our server for
further processing
5. You can unlock your phone now as it
would be unlocked by our servers (Select
SL3 Online RPL Calculation method, and
press Direct Unlock), you may also use
Manual Mode if phone is away.
Note1. No, this will not work with
Mobile GPU (ati mobility, nvidia m... ,
)
Note2. You need special GPU (or 2xgpu in
crossfire), check here (more sha1 perf
points - better speed) GPU estimations
Note3. Reading log, calculating process
is standalone. After calculating COD
file, it needs be submitted to server
(for calculating level1-level7 codes),
its immediatly and free ofcourse...
Note4. We tested on both gpu:
- 2xHD5970 and searching 1 possiblity is
~22 seconds (total 220000 seconds -
worst case - ~61 hours).
- Old Nvidia GT8800 GPU ( i think it
have about 4 years now ), searching 1
possibilty is ~660 seconds (total
6600000 seconds, thus worst case is
~1833 hours (76 days))
Note5. I got "Too many child process
failure" message. That means your GPU is
unsupported, or is too weak.. OR some
problem really occured.
Note6. We aren't disabling our servers,
since this solution will suit only for
some (5%) of ppls, and needs investment
in HW.

Cyclone Box Firmware v01.43 Released
Hi, New firmware v01.43 is uploaded to
server
- Fixed "Smartcard is not responding for
reset" in some configurations.
Please upgrade your box only if you are
encountering Smartcard problems, else no
upgrade is needed.
Don't need to upgrade exe if you have
installed latest installer (released on
01.07.2010), else install this installer
to have backward Nokia Loaders
compatibilty. To upgrade just go to "Box
Maintenance" and use Maintenace to write
latest microcode.
As always,every box having 3 update
credits. Please WAIT PATIENTLY during
upgrade as it will end (else your box
will not be upgraded, and credits will
be charged, you will need to ask us
agian, etc, etc - so just click BOX
MAINTENANCE and patiently WAIT!).
During upgrade you may see message like
"Cant upgrade bootloader", "Not allowed
to upgrade bootloader", "Bootloader
upgrade skipped". THIS IS VERY NORMAL
becuase BOOTLOADER SHOULD BE UPDATED
ONLY ONCE to minimise risk of destroying
your box. As you know bootloader is
first code executed upon box bootup, so
when its corrupt/destroyd box is
bricked. So if your bootloader is
already up to date you will receive such
message, but that means everything is
just fine.
Another things which need attention is
usage latest firmware and latest NK
loaders.
Keep note that firmwares >=v01.42 need
have installed Nokia loaders 10.18.00
(latest installer update). Else you will
encounter booting and flashing problems
- firmware >=01.42 is not compatible
with 0.9.50 loaders !!! So if you don't
installed latest installer BUT upgraded
Firmware to >=v01.42 YOU WILL ENCOUNTER
NOKIA BB5 FLASHING PROBLEMS!

if you still having problems with
flashing phones using new protocol no
need to make headache - we though about

your unit by ticking "Use Old Protocol

tools works only if phone log (by
flashbus) is readen before.

- When SIMLOCK IS NOT ACCEPTED during BB5 RPL Write,
software trying to write FBUS part again after FLASHBUS
part, so if NPC is corrupted, the SL will be restored anyway
- Please don't use "Erase Security" function when writing
BB5 PA_SL2 RPL, because SIMLOCK will not be accepted in such
case! In order of simlock rebuild, NPC MUST BE CORRECT!
- Improved BB5 RPL Write, when HWC can't be written (N96 -
example), other certs being written and whole procedure is
not being skipped
- After sending Simlock and Superdongle data, delay added,
so PA_SL can recalculate SP and Recreate 308 if needed
(previously it wasn't working all times)
- During BB5 Configuration Parse (flash chips, status), now
RAM chip is displayed instead of UNKNOWN
- DCT4Plus Security Status is now being displayed upon
unlock - either TAMPERED or NOT TAMPERED

Note on flashing RAPU units: make sure you obtained CORRECT
FBUS CABLE! UFC No.2 (As we tested) NOT working with RAPU
phones, because MBUS line is duplicated. We recommend to use
FoneFunShop FBUS cables.
This is BULK UPDATE, that means you need to download EXE
file and click INSTALL. All previously released updates (few
days before, rapido nck calc, etc) will be applied
automatically, loaders will be purged too. You need have

We have rewritten DCT4 booting routines (and finally
reproduced 1680c booting problems).
That means 1680c and other phones booting problems was
solved.
Upgrade your boxes and DCT4 booting problems will go away.
As usually each customer having 2 update credits,
so if something will go wrong during update (power failure,
etc, etc, etc),
just go back and Maintenance your box again.
NOTE :
To upgrade your box, it needs be booted into bootloader
mode.
Best way is to disconnect USB cable and connect it again.
Box will launch in bootloader mode, and now you can use
“Maintenance box” function from “Maintenance” module,
thus will upgrade your box.

(only on PA_SL2 Phones !! ), which can be used to simlock

Keyboard/FBUS Code Counter.

simlock has been corrupted, and you have only PM backup. If
PM have needed fields, it will create plain RPL file which
can recreate simlock for you without headache.
- SL5 Creator support for Creating Relocked SL5 for desired
MCC+MNC / Profile Bits
- Added “BB5_Autolock_IMSI.sl5″ in UnlockData. Use with
IMPORT SL5 in order to AUTOLOCK BB5 phone to IMSI (one sim
card).
- Added “BB5_Autolock_MCCMNC.sl5″ in UnlockData. Use with
IMPORT SL5 in order to AUTOLOCK BB5 phone to MCC-MNC
(operator).
- BB5 Plain RPL Write added.
- Added “UB Backup” option while writing BB5 Plain RPL (SIMLOCK
AREA), since they aren’t adding SHA-1 before SIMLOCK_DATA in
RPL file - it needs be skipped in case.
- Added “Erase Security” option before RPL write. This is
used when phone have problem with PM 308 blocks (downgrade,
for example) and can’t boot to accept superdongle / simlock
data - in case, no need to full erase in case. Keep note
that after RPL write YOU NEED SX4 Authorization with server
and writing PM Fields 1 and 309. Otherwise your phone will
fail to pass ST_SECURITY_TEST, and in effect will not boot.
