Ben Middleton UK: I ordered a new handset from Ebay (San
FranciscoII) and made the mistake of ordering a handset locked to
Orange. My fault entirely, I had looked at so many I just clicked
the wrong one! Anyway I rang round a few local shops to get the
handset unlocked and no one would help saying - "you can't unlock
that handset". I searched online and came across Fonefunshop.
I ordered the service where they email codes straight to you. This
was on a Saturday and was pleased to get codes withing minutes.
However none of them worked as I ordered for san francisco because
san francisco 2 was not listed. I replied to the email and it
quickly transpired I would need to send the handset in.
Automatically they credited the charge for the emailed codes.. I
didn't even have to ask, and sent
instructions to ship my handset. they have unlocked it and
turned it around recorded delivery on the same afternoon. I
think this is exceptional, terrific customer service especially as
the emails to arrange were over the weekend. I am thoroughly
impressed and will recommend you to anyone who needs these types of

Hi All, Boxing day 2011 I bricked my Samsung Galaxy S 2, yes a FULL
brick as in it did nothing, it was my fault as I was tired and
flashed the wrong bootloaders. After the initial tears and
frustration of feeling helpless I hunted around the internet for
someone in the UK that did JTag restores. I came across
http://fonefunshop.co.uk and as luck would have it they had a team
member online using their instant MSN chat, so I jumped on and spoke
to Mark who reassured me it sounded very repairable. The bad news
was they were shut for holidays until 3rd January 2012, but none the
less I felt better. I boxed the phone up after paying via Paypal and
posted on Friday 30th which got it there for the 3rd. By 1pm
on the 3rd I had an email stating the phone was with them and it was
waiting workbench space, I checked again a few hours later and it
was on the bench... next I heard was via email on the 4th stating
the phone was fixed, this was accompanied by a photo of my phone
working (nice touch). 2 hours later an email arrived saying
the phone was on route to me via next day delivery and sure enough,
this morning at 10.30 am the phone was here. Its not often I
come across a company thats worth shouting about but this is an
exception to the rule.. the guys at fonefunshop.co.uk are very
professional and fast and I HIGHLY recommend them to ANYONE that has
issues with their phones.

I have a curious tale to tell. I have been using my
"TomTom One XL with European Maps" for quite a while now, and had
until last week skilfully avoided "stumping up" the extra cost for
map updates that were being demanded by "TomTom". Then
in a moment of weakness I decided to pay the cash and get updates
for the coming year. I did the first of the purchased updates and
"suckered the device" to the French Window at the back of the lounge
to lock on to the "old sky birds" to check out the update.
Then the unthinkable happened the "sucker device let go" and dropped
the device on to the patio. The whole LCD was shattered and the
display literally melted before my eyes. The device was trashed and
the cash for the update contract I only spent an hour before was now
completely wasted as well. Now is that "ironic or what ?".
What a choker I hear you echo. I looked very long and hard at
the "TomTom" Web pages and they are completely bland and devoid of
contact details. There is no one to talk to. No advice for
unfortunates like my self to work out what to do in the
circumstances, I was in right there. To say I was annoyed was
a complete understatement. I was then "taken aback" by the
result of speculative search for "LCD Repairs" when out of "left
field" came the link to "Fone Fun Shop". It all sounded just
too good to be true so I parcelled up the device and sent it away.
Now I am telling you without any kind of exaggeration "these guys
rock". Not only did they execute a "full repair on the
device", but they turned it around the "same day". Utterly
remarkable. Now I have it back it works and the wasted cash
has been give a new sense of purpose as well. Trust me when I
say this, "these guy are just refreshing to deal with", they have
"work ethic and are real people".

million i wasted money with, that actually worked! I was told by so
many unlocking services that its - 'not possible on 6210 navigator
on Vodafone Ireland' or 'the phone needs to be sent to us' or 'not
covered by our service'..... I Cant thank you enough! Worth
Alex R. UK: My experience with
the FoneFunShop has been great. They provided an excellent and very
speedy repair service for my tomtom, which had a surface crack
across its screen meaning the touch panel didn't work - and I'd been
meaning to get it fixed for over a year. After trawling through
quite a few phone and GPS repair sites, the fonefunshop had some of
the best prices - I paid £55 where other sites were charging up to
£85 for the same thing which would nearly be the cost a refurbed
tomtom (so no point). I found a couple of good reviews outside of
the ones on their own website, so thought they looked trustworthy.
So I bubble-wrapped the tomtom up and sent them it in the post on
Tuesday evening. By Thursday they emailed me with a Royal Mail
tracking number as they were already sending the tomtom back - I
received it on Friday (Special Delivery included in the repair price
- which some other sites don't offer and charge around £9 extra).
They had replaced the screen, it looked brand new and was working
fine. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the
service and would recommend them for tomtom repairs to anyone! I was
originally a bit worried about sending stuff off in the post as I
found some reviews where people had sent phones/GPS off to be
repaired but then heard nothing and had no response to their emails.
So as I'd had a good experience with the fonefunshop I hope it will
help others to find reputable repair places by reading my review.
I have received my iPhone full unlock email today,
connected iphone to itunes and all unlocked. I just wanted to
say thank you for helping out with this, answering the phone when I
called and giving honest and accurate answers - having tried other
so called guaranteed services before finding you via a forum, all of
which didn't work, I only wish I had found you sooner. Thanks

Sony Ericsson K610i phones on eBay, both were locked and branded to
T-Mobile. I tried unlocking and debranding one of them myself, but

with no success, I was very reluctant to try another online

as I received my unlock code email within about 10 minutes of
submitting my IMEI code to your server. My only very minor concern
is that the whole unlock process would have been slightly speeded up
if I had been automatically directed to your 'imei instruction' web

"3") to Fone Fun Shop to get it unlocked and debranded. I posted it
on Thursday (28th May 2009) and I received it back on Saturday (30th
May 2009). I am very pleased with the work done on it. And now, not
only have the "3" logos been replaced with the generic Sony Ericsson
ones, I can now also access the internet (using my home connection)
through the WiFi feature on my C905. This is something I could not
do previously because "3" had locked the WiFi feature so that you
had no choice but to access the internet from your "3" sim card.
However, there is now not trace of "3" on my C905 and the phone can
be used to its full potential (i.e. no restrictions anymore). As
always, I would recommend Fone Fun Shop to everyone. Thanks a
million, Fone Fun Shop, your help is very much appreciated.

(1st April) & discussed the issue with a sales representative who clearly (&

wanted my V9 handset de-branded (from the Ď3í network) & the controls
freed-up, however it is one you specifically state (on your website) that
you cannot support due to possible confusion with similarly named versions
(namely the V9m, which I said I think is the CDMA version). Following
the above discussion your sales rep happily & with confidence agreed for me
to send in my phone & your engineers would at least attempt the work.
I posted the phone to you Thursday, you would have received it mid-late
morning the next day (Friday) & I was amazed to have the phone back in my
hands by midday Saturday! with everything done - fully de-branded & all
controls/options etc opened up to my full use & changeÖ & not a trace of the
original service provider details. This really is excellent service &
great value for money too. I will happily recommend you to anyone in any
similar circumstance as you are clearly the best.
